Former prime minister and PTI chief Imran Khan won the NA-24 Charsadda-II by-election with 78,589 votes defeating the Awani National Party’s candidate Aimal Wali Khan on Sunday, according to unofficial results.

ANP’s Aimal bagged 68,356 votes, as PTI secures another NA seat — that has been ruling Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since 2013.
Four candidates were vying for NA-24 Charsadda-II constituency.
In Charsadda, Khan was competing against JI’s Mujeebur Rehman, independent candidate Sparlay Mohmand and ANP's leader Aimal, who has been giving the PTI chief the toughest competition out of his three rivals.
